Perth

There is a lot to see and do in Perth.

Just to skim the surface, you can visit the new Elizabeth Quay in the city, explore modern and natural playgrounds on the river near East Perth and in Kings Park, swim at the beaches which run along the coast, sip wine and beer at the evergreen Swan Valley, visit the historic Fremantle Port, and explore the stunning Rottnest Island.

Our Perth experience involved spending time with family and friends. We ate and drank well, had plenty of rest took a little break from our cameras (for better or for worse!).

After deciding not to take bikes on our trip, we began regretting our decisions as there were ample opportunities at the places we stay at for the kids to ride around and explore. So after some intensive gumtree stalking, we found a bike for Kaya and Felix and our friends donated their old bike for Bon (thanks Suzie!).

Now we’re all set to tackle the rest of WA and onwards.
